Integration In University Humanistic Education And Scientific Education

With the ever-development of the science and technology, human society has been more civilized. And the value of education of science has also been strengthened, which has also brought deep variation. But the humanity is not kept in step with the development of science, the result of which causes the lack of humanistic spirit and has brought the serious bad consequence to human society. The sense of loss of the humanistic education is one of the major defects of the modern university. Generally speaking, there is a tendency at colleges that more attention to science and technology is paid but the humanity is ignored, and that more attention to practice is paid but the quality of the students is ignored. Therefore, in order to promote the development on various qualities of the students, the combination of the education on humanity with the education on science are focused on and are being explored at colleges.With the deepening on educational reform, the idea on the combination of the education on humanity with the education on science has become more and more important, the situation of which will be analyzed and discussed in this paper based on the theory and practice, and in view of the successful experience of the foreign countries. And the mode of the combination of the education on humanity with the education on science has been put forward in this paper so as to appeal to the attention on this field, the mode of which is as the following: establishing the idea of the combination of the education on humanity with the education on science; reforming the educational system; perfecting the course structure; improving the teaching methods; optimizing the culture atmosphere on campus; building a high-quality staff; etc. In the practice of promoting the combination of the education on humanity with the education on science, it is desirable that the national characteristic be tightly combined with the international experience.
