With the development of society and economy, the need for the talents in agriculture is also promoting. Therefore, the academic achievement evaluation for undergraduates in agriculture discipline, as a standard in evaluating the quality of the students in the major, plays a very important role for cultivating quality of the talents, further development for both teachers and students and realization of the goal of the talents cultivation. However, there is no fixed standard in certain fields, such as how to evaluate academic achievement, the natural meaning of the scores of the specialty courses, especially, what kinds of rules could be used in the evaluation process. This essay, based on the cultivate object for the undergraduates in agriculture, aims itself at forming the course evaluation system in the field, promoting the quality for the college students in agriculture. The essay consists of five parts.Part one, the introduction, introduce the background, objective and significance, research trends, analyses the main content, and describes the research method.Part two, is about the theory research on the course evaluation for undergraduates in agriculture discipline. The theory evidence is the basic theory of educational evaluation and taxonomy of educational objective. The specialized evidence is demand and criterion of cultivate talent in agriculture. Then, the research analyses the feature and natural meaning of the scores of those major course, and ascertains the natural meaning of the scores of the specialty courses of undergraduates in agriculture.Part three, the investigation of realistic circumstance about the course evaluation for undergraduates in agriculture. According to the data from the questionnaire, the research analyses the problem, and finds the reasons in the achievement evaluation.Part four, the course evaluation system in the field is being formed. In accordance with the research, the principles, criterion and standards of the academic achievement evaluation for undergraduates in agriculture discipline are provided.Part five, is about the evaluation program and implement tactics on the achievement evaluation for undergraduates in agriculture discipline.
