Ph.d., Master Degree Evaluation System And Method Of Study And Practice

Along with the rapid development of academic degrees and graduate education (ADGE) all over the world, people pay more and more attention to the quality of ADGE. Quality is the lifeline of ADGE. Only quality is assured, can ADGE develop steadily and greatly. At present, evaluation is the most important measure to guarantee and improve the quality of ADGE. In the evaluation of ADGE, evaluation of authorized disciplines and specialities conferring an academic degree is the most important, which can accelerate the authorized units conferring an academic degree to strengthen its discipline construction and improve quality of the conferring academic degrees.On the basis of analyzing evaluation status and summarizing the achievement and disadvantages of evaluation in China, combining the former evaluation experiences, this paper put forward the study necessity of the evaluation on authorized disciplines and specialities conferring an academic degree. The paper gives a systemic and general study from aspects of general situation, establishment of index system, evaluation methods, organization and implementation, utilization of the evaluation result and so on. Many cases and charts are used in the study, which makes theory analysis more idiographic, visual and persuasive. The author also pays attention to the combination of theory and practice, and put the study results into the self-evaluation practice in our university.
