In present time, there are two defects during the process of teaching English in middle school, one is the severe insufficiency in the setting out of situation for English study, the other is the ill trend of emphasizing cognition but neglecting feeling. With regard to this question, utilizing the theories of modern pedagogies and English as well as combining the psychology characteristics of middle school students, this paper raises the suggestions to make a complete research for the Situation Teaching Method of English in middle school.The Situation Teaching Method is to create some active and emotional sceneries in English class.The paper introduces the feathers of direct perception from images, and individual participation in accordance with group discussion,and ascertains the principles of cognition interacting with feeling, image waving with abstract, It also analyzes the emotional adjusting tactics on curiosity, interest, pleasure and anxiety, concludes the two methods for setting of emotional environment, one is direct situation and the other is thinking situation .The paper further delivered the tactics for setting out of direct situation, "method of surprise" and "method of reality", as well as the tactics for setting out of thinking situation, "Little step" and "Idealization" etc. Finally, through experiment and questionnaire, the paper proves the Situation Teaching Method to be an efficient way to promote the cognition and feeling studying capability of the students, and improve the teaching quality of English in senior middle school. Compared with the traditional teaching methods, it can help the students change their feelings ,from being tired of learning to enjoying learning. It can also improve students' interest and enthusiasm, correct their attitude, develop the students' language skills and it helps the students to communicate in English freely.
