The Research Of School Culture Building Process

Nowadays, according to the research on education management, school culture is considered to be the main factors which affect the efficiency of the school management and the quality of a good school. Yet the results of the recent research, as regard to school culture, focus mostly on its general principles, including definition, extension, meaning, function and classification. There are fewer deep research on how to construct it, in particular, the practical research. As to most people who work with it, they are in great need of the theoretical guidance and practical experience of how to construct the school culture which they are able to refer to. Besides, the approaches and the strategies adopted in its process make full impact on the effect of school culture construction. As a result, it is obviously necessary to do the research on the process of school culture construction.This research stressed on the survey of two typical cases about how the two schools construct their school culture. It collected the relating materials and information and interviewed the main leaders in the construction process. On the basis of the existing result of similar research home and abroad, this article gained some revelation on how to construct the school culture through analysis and comparison of the two school's construction process.With the survey and research, this article provides procedures in detail on the two schools' culture construction and concludes some approaches and the key strategies the two schools used. The revelation gained from the research is classified in to three categories: The revelation concerning the approaches of the culture construction. For instance, the general approach and the leverage of the school culture construction, etc.; the revelation of the strategy in constructing the school culture, including what effective strategies can be used to construct the school culture and their key factors; the revelation of the other important factors that can affect the result during the construction process, such as the training for the new teachers, the function of the headmaster and the control origin of the school culture construction etc..
