Chinese language textbook is an integral part of Chinese teaching, not only as a carrier of teaching content, but as a basic educational goal which is to be achieved. In recent years, the discussion of Chinese textbook has never stopped by the Chinese education authority, especially in March 2014, the Ministry of Education promulgated "to Improve Chinese Traditional Culture Education Guidance Outline”,making additions, deletions and selection of traditional Chinese cultural contents in Chinese language teaching contents a hot topic in Chinese teaching circles. Hong Kong was promoted by the tides of World Education Reform since the beginning of the twenty-first century, the paces of Chinese educational reform went great far. The presence of culture in Chinese language education textbooks in Hong Kong is worth of attention under the influence of collision by the China’s mainland and the west because Hong Kong has the same root of the traditional culture with the mainland. This research seeks in Revelation Edition junior Chinese Language from the parts in traditional cultural content and the depth analysis of style construction to present its whole picture in the style and content of cultural construction, to analyze its characteristics,inadequate and the good points from which Chinese textbooks in mainland can learn in Traditional Culture Reform part. This paper devotes to promote interdisciplinary exchanges between both sides, to learn from each other, to edit more scientific language teaching textbooks with rich cultural heritage.This paper is divided into introduction, body and conclusion, the major contents of each part are as following:Introduction section provides an overview in the background, the research significance, defining core programs, research methods and the presence of summarization.The first chapter is the summarization of the historical development of language education in Hong Kong at the point of reunification, summarize and abstract theprogrammatic document Chinese Curriculum Guideline in Hong Kong and Revelation Edition Chinese language from a cultural perspective view, making theoretic support and contents bedding for the following in-depth study.The second chapter is the analysis of traditional cultural construction style in Hong Kong textbooks from "cultural knowledge" module, system of assistant reading and other elements of traditional culture module which contains three views to show its features.The third chapter is the classification and summarization of traditional cultural content in Chinese Language from the materials, institution and spiritual three levels in accordance with the cultural level in Secondary Language Curriculum Guidelines,and analysis of the trade-offs of the traditional culture in the selection of contents.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the features and shortcomings in junior version of Revelation Chinese Language, on the basis of which, it points out the good points from which that construction of the traditional culture in mainland ones can learn in construction of style and the selection contents.This paper argues that: Revelation Junior Edition Chinese language traditional cultural construction is remarkable. The selection of the style in the construction and cultural content exhibit new features which differ from the ones in mainland, full of strong breath of the traditional culture, with the features of sophisticated binding,inclusive cultural attitudes and concerns about local culture and so on. Also presenting with shortcomings, for example, the lack of introduction in Buddhism and Taoism cultural hybridity. But fundamentally, it could be a reference to the traditional Chinese culture construction in the textbooks of mainland in style of construction and selection of contents.
