The Teaching and Research Group (TRG) is the basic unit of the teaching research management system, is an integration of the administration, normal teaching and research, and is a comprehensive organization covering administration and academy. TRG's work affects the school teaching and management directly, vital to overall school work and the future of the school. However, many schools, for a long time, influenced by many factors, haven't attached much importance to TRG, neglecting the function of the TRG and considering TRG as an unworthy organization .The consequence of belittling the function of TRG is that many schools cannot put their policies into effect, cannot conduct teaching research., and cannot improve steadily. In this analysis, strength, weakness, opportunity and threat in TRG of H School is put forward and optimizing strategies should be worked out as follows: SO strategy intends to find opportunities by using strengths, ST strategy aims at getting rid of threats by using of strengths, WO strategy proposes to make up for weakness by using of opportunities, and ST strategy suggests dealing with weakness by using of strengths. All such strategies will bring a bright future for the school.
