The Reform of National College Entrance Examination for Zhejiang and Shanghai was published on Sep.9th 2014. This Reform claimed that beside the compulsory subjects, Chinese, Mathematics and English, students can choose three out of the seven other subjects to take. The combining score of the compulsory and elective subjects will be their final exam scores. For the three elective subjects they choose, the content of the examination will contain all the compulsory and elective knowledge they learned in this course. While for the other four subjects, students will only be tested by the compulsory knowledge, in other words, they should pass the The Academic Proficiency Test. The reform of History curriculum which was symboled by the publishing of MOE’s The Ordinary High School History Curriculum Standard(Experimental)has been started for a few years and now it has come into a struggling but delicate stage. As the new teaching theory has been put forward and popularized, it has shocked the traditional educational thought and philosophy greatly. The history in high school is in a critical period of transformation, and there are still plenty of questions need discussing. It is in 2004 that the first revision of the history textbook has published on a large scale. The textbook, which is the fundamental basis of the history classroom activity, plays an irreplaceable role in fulfilling the teaching aims.There is a controversy over the present textbooks of the selective course,especially the history of the war and peace of the 20 th century. Compared with other parts of the selective course, it has a closer relationship with the compulsory course. So it is beneficial to analyze and research the four different versions of textbooks, with my practical experience combined, during the teaching process of this part. First, the teaching will be better organized according to the characteristics of different versions. Besides, editors can receive the feedback,which is of great benefit to the further improvement of our textbooks.
