For not really understanding the targets and functions of Chinese teaching, the compilers of teaching material always makes some mistakes. And this situation exists for a long time. Also, the unity of teaching material over the whole country makes the compilation much more difficult. The progress of the innovation of teaching material has been made from the ending of 1980s and the pattern of teaching has changed from "single outline, single edition "into "single outline, multi-edition ", even into "multi-outline, multi-edition ", the ideology of innovation is still limited and the effect of tradition still exists. Luckily, the 8th curriculum innovation of basic education initiated at the beginning of the new century. This innovation defines that function of Chinese is the unity of being a tool and carrying on humanity. Also , it shows the right way of curriculum innovation. In this case there are many experts and scholars who concern a lot about Chinese education take part in this process. They compile many material and reading books. Will they affect the innovation a lot? By comparing the teaching material which are compiled by Sun ShaoZhen, the famous professor in Fujian Teacher's University with the experimenting teaching materials used in Zhangzhou , and by absorbing suggestions of some famous teachers, the author analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Junior Chinese experimenting teaching material in middle school which are survey shows that teaching material which are compiled by Beijing Normal University. The comparison and the survey show that Junior Chinese Experimenting Teaching Materials compiled by Beijing Normal University has set up a new teaching material system that flies its own colors. It also has advantages in transforming and spreading academic achievement and promoting the students' Chinese accomplishment. However, it's necessary for the academic circles to give the Chinese educational circles more guidance and help. By the comparison and the survey stated above, this article is going to propose some ideas of innovation of Chinese teaching material of middle school.
