With the implementation of new working time system, students in the primary and high schools have more leisure than before. Since they are on the way to the transition period of maturity, great blindness and one-sidedness are featured at leisure . During that period, they can behave positively or negatively, even illegally. If they are not guided properly, their leisure,free and far from controllable, will become a 'vacuum region' of moral education, which could be a negative power to affect their development. Based on the hard fact, this thesis attempts to conduct a whole and systematic research on the life of students in primary and high school at leisure via the methods of questionnaire, interview and investigation etc. in the primary and high schools of the author' s county according to the existing study. Starting with the existing issues in students' life at leisure, the author analyzes the guidelines that moral education at leisure should follow and presents us some effective methods with an aim to stress the significance of moral education at leisure.In the first chapter of this thesis, the author emphatically argues the significance of moral education at leisure on the basis of stating the basic theoretical framework of leisure . In the second chapter, the author reveals the current status and existing main problems in contemporary students of primary and high schools, and conduct an analysis from each aspect of causes of the above issues based on detailed investigation. The final chapter serves as an exploration of effective ways to consolidate the result of moral education at leisure with a combination of contemporary social background and features of students in primary and high schools.
