Research On "Humanism Orientation" Campus Culture Construction In Sciences And Technology Universities

Campus culture, as a special branch of social culture, not only shares some commonness with social culture but also demonstrates its unique characteristics. The establishment of campus culture, which is an important component of socialist culture as well as beneficial supplement and deep extention of class education, owns extensive and deep intension in school education. The roll of educating people is more and more important. And how to take men and students as top priority, how to improve arts quality of science students in science and technology universities is an urgent problem worthy being thought of deeply in new conditions.The thesis has an overview on the history of building campus culture from the perspective of cultural research. It explains the basic theories on the building of campus culture and sets out the concept of building "humanism-oriented" culture based on the fact of the international political and economical developing situation and the reform of our higher education at home. The thesis explores humanism-oriented culture from the following theoretical perspective: its characteristics, main elements, structure and function, together with its intrinsic mechanism and pattern.
