With the development of urbanization and industrialization, "Village –amid-the-city" has become one of the major obstacles of china's further urbanization. How to make the inhabitants in "Village-amid-the-city" adapted to the city completely is crucial for the solving of this problem. Taking the village in Fuzhou as an example, this paper analyses the problem from the angle of sociology. The theory on socialization, urbanization and modernization found this paper's theory fundamentals. The first step is to investigate the village in Fuzhou about the condition of the inhabitants' urban-adapting, and the paper comes out with the conclusion that the inhabitants' urban-adapting hasn't been completed. This paper indicates that this incomplete urban-adapting has the root of institution, economy and culture which behaving on the restriction of duplication management, the imperfectness of the urban-adapting system, the inhabitants' low education level, the historical cultural factor which restricted in the small village, and the economic factor. All these factors strengthen the inhabitants' sense of belonging and enlarge the gap between the city and the "Village –amid-the-city". Then, the author further analyzes this problem and gives some suggestions and solutions. Generally speaking, "Village –amid-the-city" is the palace in which the village turns into the city. It reflects the radiant effect of the city and the process of the "Village –amid-the-city" imitates and integrates into the city. During that Process, many problems and conflicts will appear. Comparing with the country, "Village –amid-the-city" enhance the process of civilization and the termination of the peasants.
