Information is a necessity in the development of human society. American psychologist Albert Mehrabian once confirmed through experiments: The overall effect of the information = 7% words +38% tone +55% facial expressions and movements. Human beings always transmit information by language and non-language symbols. In sports teaching, teachers and students also use language and body languages to express their feelings and communicate with each other. Body language is not only a special non-linguistic human activities, but also the most vibrant sports teaching methods of information dissemination. What's more, it is an indispensable part in sports teaching. In the process of teaching and learning for sports activities, with physical characteristics included, the body languages are different from those used in other majors. And most of them have strong visual image , which has great effects on developing students abilities, improving teachers teaching standards and rebuilding a newly-style teacher-student relationship. Therefore, how to find out a series of basic and useful body language which fits our sports teaching is one of the realistic topics in our current research between real sports teaching theories.Based on linguistics, informatics, the study, which takes aerobics teaching in colleges and universities for example, starts with body language. By searching documents, specialist interview, questionnaire, doing experiments, mathematical statistics and absorbing and learning from other disciplines of research, the author has done fully researches on the body languages used in sports teaching. The following are the conclusions drawn from it:To begin with, in the process of sports teaching, teachers express ideas, expressions and attitudes by different actions done by limbs. And the body language used in sports language is a sum of those actions.Secondly, the body language can be divided into two kinds:professional and common, according to the different ways used in its transmission in athletic sports. In addition, there are two kinds of professional body languages: one is for demonstration and the other for explanation.Then, body language is a kind of constructive behavior. If used effectively, it does good to help students have a positive emotional experience;Strengthen the capacity of students self-perceived;promote students abilities and improve students technological capabilities.Finally, there are principles in the process of body language using in sports teaching. At first, it must be used correctly. And then it must be heuristic and harmonious. At last, all the body language used in sports teaching should have the same meaning.
