The Relativity Of Cohesion To The Performance Of Adult Female Football Team

Cohesion can promote its performance in the normal condition, and it is decisive in some certain conditions.Chinese female football has had a glorious history and score. She is an important power in the female football of the world. So Spirit of female football team has been a way to strengthen cohesion of our nation once. With the popular day after day and quick development of female football, the leading position of our national female football team is faced powerful challenge increasingly. The spirit we take pride of has been questioned and it faces crisis. The Olympic of 2008 will be hold in our country. So the female football team will come across opportunity they never meet and serious challenge. Chinese Football Association has put forward a slogan that is "constructing spirit of female football team again, and taking champion of Olympic". In order to realize this object, many people will be needed to do many things. The adult female football teams carry the mission of educating female football player for the nation team. So it is a necessary part to research cohesion of adult female football team and the influence of cohesion to the performance of team.The paper studied present condition of cohesion of adult female football team and it's influence to their performance by using GEQ. It also analyzed the relation between dimension's index of GEQ and their performance. Several conclusions were acquired. Firstly, compared with male football team and individual sport, the cohesion of adult female football team is higher, but it is lower than high cohesion. Secondly, there is a significant difference among female football teams of differentlevel. Higher cohesion is accordant with better performance and lower cohesion is accordant with worse performance. Thirdly, the index of every dimension has a negative correlation with their position in the game. In o'her word, higher cohesion that a team is, higher position it has in the game. Lastly, it is indicated that score of cohesion is near to the position of teams after statistics of contrast describe was used. And cohesion has a decisive and directive function to the performance of female football teams.The paper indicated that education of cohesion is a prolonged, arduous and complicated process. It also introduced the way of education of cohesion and explored valid model of its education. Lastly, there were some conclusions and good suggestions.
