Transfer, which plays an important part in school teaching and education, impenetrates in multiform learning through our life. It is one of the basic purposes of education that students can put what they have learned into their future study, life and work. To stimulate their positive transfer, the educational world puts forward the slogan "Teaching for transfer". Based on the theory of transfer and analyzing the meaning of learning transfer, this paper analyzes the subjective and objective factors that affect learning transfer. In addition, it clarifies strategies which promote learning transfer in chemistry teaching in seven aspects as follows: First, create the transfer circumstances for students;Second, optimize cognitive structure of students;Third, value summarizing what they have learned and reveal the key transfer element;Fourth, analyse the disturbance of fixing thinking and eliminate negative transfer;Fifth, intensify pattern -modification exercises and improve flexible transfer;Sixth, attach importance to inquiry learning to reach the best transfer efficiency;Seventh, develop metacognitive ability and stimulate positive transfer in study.
