There is a great theoretical and practical significance to better promote moral education work through the study of moral education courses. In order to promote the further development of the research and the practice on moral education courses in China, the article sums up the existing results of research on the courses, knows the research level, finds the problems and the development trends by providing an overview of our existing moral education courses.The article is divided into five parts:Part One is the elaboration on the concept and the basic problem of the moral education courses, including the understanding of the courses, the discussion on whether the moral education can be opened as a subject, the characteristic analysis of the courses and the classification study on the courses.Part Two is the study on the trend of the current reform of the moral education courses in China. Under the influence of the new course view, our moral education courses are changing from paying attention to "knowledge grasp " to focus on " students' experience ".Our current courses reform presents a new trend, which puts forward some new requirements to the role of teachers and the teaching methods.Part Three is the analysis of the construct of the moral education courses system in terms of three kinds of moral education courses. Under the idea of great moral education courses, cognitive moral education courses, active moral education courses, hidden moral education courses in China have different status, characteristics and advantages in the system of the moral education courses, and also they have their respective problems and need to improve.Part Four proposes several main problems existing in the present reform of the moral education courses in China, including the transition of the teachers' courses view, integration of different moral education courses, development and use of the moral education courses' resources, and the appraisal of the courses, etc.Part Five puts forward the achievements and the existing problems of the research on moral education courses in China, analyses the trend of the research on the moral education courses in China presents.
