There is a need for university curriculum theory to derive foundational principles and research methods from foundation discipline as the resource for growing and developing. And then to use them for the constructing of university curriculum' aim, the orientation fixing of university curriculum's character and function, the instructing of university curriculum's design, practice and assessment. So as to constructing a mature and perfect system of university curriculum theory. The research refers to some foundational fields of university curriculum theory, such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, the ology of science and the ology of culture.Researching on the university curriculum view of the philosophy of education genres, such as Perennialism, Essentialism, Pragmatism, and Reconstructionism. It can be found that philosophy provides the philosophy researching patterns, the significance of noumenon theory and the foundation of axiology for university curriculum.Researching on the university curriculum view of the psychology genres, such as Behaviorism Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Humanism Psychology and Constructionism Psychology. It can be found that psychology provides the psychology researching patterns, the foundation for fixing aim, the basis for deciding content, the methods for organizing content, the reference for practicing and assessing for university curriculum.Researching on the university curriculum view of the sociology of education genres, such as Structure-function Theory, Conflict Theory, Society criticism Theory, Phenomenon annotation theory.It can be found that the sociology of education provides the sociology researching patterns, the socializing aim in the long run, the restricted mechanism of polity and economy, the function of individual and society for university curriculum.Researching on the university curriculum affected by technology revolution, it can be found that university curriculum is restricted by the structure of science activity and the mechanism of science development. Meanwhile, the evolution of science history plays an important role in idea, aim, principle, pattern and practice of university curriculum.Researching on the university curriculum view among three different culture tropisms: public culture-directed, subculture- directed and midst- directed. It also can be found that the culture restricts university curriculum while university curriculum shows culture characters.
