Reading teaching takes up the greatest percentage of time in senior middle schoolChinese teaching, but appreciation of Chinese poem plays an important role in Chinese.However, students are fed up with stylized analysis in reading, which is mechanic and boring.The most important measure to activate appreciation of poem and make it humanized andinteresting to emphasize the importance of affective infiltration. The purpose of this paper isto explore the functions of affections, implement the effective measures of affectioninfiltration, activate appreciation of poem, enhance the quality of language teaching, andfinally represent fully the features of this subject---humanization. Furthermore, we set ourpurpose on approaching students' problems concerning affective matters, stimulating theharmonious development of students' physical and psychological health and training theirsound and healthy personality.This paper consists of three parts: the significance of affective infiltration in Chinesepoem teaching;the principles of implementing affective infiltration and measures ofimplementing the process.This paper also discusses the significance of affective infiltration from the needs of bothpoem itself and students' themselves. It put forward the principles of affective infiltration---tobe flexible, to be proper and to be open. On the basis of all the above mentioned, this paperhas explored the effective measures of affective infiltration---to inspire students' emotion, letstudents understand emotion, deepen their emotion.
