The new course reform has brought the new opportunity for the chemical teaching of highschool in the new period. This thesis has explained the necessity of the inquiring studymethod in the ordinary chemical teaching of high school;not merely from the angle offorming and developing history of the inquiring study method, and from the angle that thecurrent situation of inquiring study method comparing with the developed country, explainurgency and disparity of the inquiring study method in the ordinary chemical teaching of highschool that our country launches the inquiring study method in the ordinary chemical teachingof high school is the basic demand of the new course reform, it is a basic route to improvecitizen's scientific accomplishment too, it is the necessity for the students to improves thestudy way.At first of this thesis,the Concept of the inquiring study method is clearly mentioned, andthe characteristic demonstrated in chemical teaching. Secondly , it has have analyzed thatinfluences the factor of inquiring study method. Third, it still combines the relevant teachingembodiments in the chemical teaching of grade one of high school, further more,it analyzesthe concrete implementation of inquiring study method, and including chemical experimentand materials properties .And last,by comparing with research through two experimentclasses, verifying the facilitation of training the interest studying chemistry,through choosing4 classmates trying in two experiment classes as the model respectively, carry on theexperiment of " detection with iodine element in the iodine salt " , has proved that theinquiring study method has facilitation improving student's chemical learning ability.Of course,advocate person who takes the inquiring study method ,does not mean that wemust give up traditional teaching totally, they function that complement each other. Throughthe research of one year , study from initial complete acceptance the inquiring study methodthe thought course of understanding probing into type study dialectically after passing byone, it has put forward several points of problem and solution met in implementing toreview.
