The Conscious-raising Education For Rural People

This paper aims to propose the "conscious-raising" education for rural peoplebased on a pedagogy of possibility drawn from the educational thoughts of LiangShuming and Paolo Freire. The first part illustrates the spiritual condition of ruralpeople in modern China. The second part introduces respectively how Liang shumingand Friere interpret the word " conscientization" (觉醒). The third part gives adetailed description on how to understand and practice the "conscious-raising"education.
