The author tries to explain the significance and the exercise of home village history as akind of teaching resource in teaching of junior middle school. Through the survey,questionnaire and so on the research finds that some history teachers seldom teach the homevillage history in teaching. Thus the students are badly lack of the knowledge of home villagehistory. It is necessary for the history teachers to recognize the importance, feasibility andurgency of the home village history. Therefore, the teachers should combine their teachingwith this teaching resource naturally to the practical teaching, which will make the studentsmaster the lively basic knowledge and experience their probe mode learning, also let thehistory teaching of junior middle school make a further breakthrough. The author also statesthe principles of teaching practice and takes best approaches to exercise the activities in thisessay. The teaching of the home village history can be practiced by means of CAI, surveys,online and lectures, etc. It is certain that the study of this research has the importance and thevalue in teaching.
