Research On The Teaching Methods Of High School New Geography Textbooks Of Case Teaching

The new geography curriculum standard put new requirements to geography teaching. Case teaching is a kind of open teaching method which has a good effect on the "three-dimensional aims".Based on the case teaching in geography teaching, the thesis intends to seek a better case teaching method for the purpose. The first part introduce the research background, the purpose and the research significance of case teaching. Then the article recommend the connotation, significance and theoretical basis of case teaching. Through analyzing of the new teaching materials in Shandong province, and then comparing them with other versions, we tries to discover the main steps of case teaching and its problems accordingly. The forth part combined with the results of questionnaire and some specific cases, the thesis aims to make a data statistics and a teaching analysis on the status quo of senior high school geography case teaching, the fifth part intends to search for a better methods to case teaching.This thesis adopts the research methods of literature study, interview survey, chart analysis and other kinds of methods in terms of textbooks. At first, the thesis adopts comparative analysis which focuses on comparing the cases of two different versions of the Student’s Book3.Taking the advantages of People’s Education Press version into consideration, the thesis tries to offer suggestions on the choice of case teaching methods and the optimization of class design of geography textbooks produced by Shandong Education Press.Subsequently, based on the analysis of specific cases and relevant theories the article elaborates how to put the above theories and methods into practice.
