A Study On The Application Of 3D Printing Technology In Geography Teaching

In recent years, the information technology is sweeping the world. Modern information technology such as 3D printing technology has a profound influence on social development, and also affected the talent training and discipline teaching. The limitations of the traditional teaching mode is increasingly apparent.3D printing technology as a new technology used in the geography teaching, how to effectively raise people and respond to the teaching requirements is a practical and significant subject.The main body of the research includes three parts:the present teaching application and research situation of 3D printing technology studies on perspective literature analysis. Research includes domestic and foreign research results and practical situation of 3D printing technology in the field of education, geography, geography teaching. On the basis of theory and present situation research, the application value of 3D printing technology in geographical knowledge content, geography ability and geography teaching methods are analyzed in detail. In terms of geographical knowledge content, the application value of 3D printing technology on the main content of physical geography, human geography, regional geography is comprehensive analyzed and interpreted with abundant teaching examples and design specification. In terms of geographic ability training, the application value is analyzed with case description from geography spatial thinking ability, geographic practice ability, ability to solve geographic problems, geography communication and cooperation ability, geography creation and imagination ability and Individual requirements. In terms of geography teaching method, project teaching, visual teaching aid objects making, touching teaching, makerspace, and flipped classroom teaching has put forward with case description. This paper designed two case with the Application of proposed teaching methods in knowledge teaching and service for the development of geography ability. "Contour map" case focuses on the teaching process, application method and steps which reflects the demonstration and operation. "Cities and urbanization" case focuses on the case design and application method which reflects expansion and designation. Eventually provides value analysis and practical case study for geographical education research and practice, in order to better realize the geography curriculum training goals.
