With the development of intellectual economy in 21 century, it is the fundamentality to the school education that accumulating and expanding students knowledge. Nowadays, the whole world is facing a revolution which is called learning revolution, or called intellectual revolution. The revolution itself will completely innovate the traditional ideas to education, the teaching pattern, and the learning style for people which have been existed for centuries. Instead it will forming a new pattern in education which would in deed devoir the learners' humanity, disentomb their latent capacities, and promote their intercommunion and co cooperation each other.The reading involves two types of reading to students; school reading and after school reading. People could improve their ideation and comprehensive diathesis through reading various books. And they will train their ideation and comprehensive diathesis more depend on after school reading than that in school, because of the lack of time and reading material in their class. The after school reading would provide a wide space to students in their accomplishments, especially in their cultural training.There is few papers in after school reading for high school students at present, and it is still to be researched for that reading in theories and practice.The aim of this research is to discuss the effects of after school reading to high school students at present. The method is to analyze the status and the reason in quo in high students after their school, basing on the rule of the development in their psychology. We hope, through this research, it would provide how to settle the problems of the reading training for high school students at the present time, and how to improve the correlative strategies in reading. As a result we wish it will come to find out a way to improve the capacity of the students reading, and to guide better for teachers in their reading teaching.
