At present, Chinese basic education has been profoundly andwidely experiencing reforms whose aims are promoting diathesis education towardsworld, future, and modernization. The diathesis education is a systematic project for allparties related to Chinese basic education. It needs courageous, steady,controlled andcreative practices guided by theories of diathesis education. As a leader in Sichuan basiceducation field, Chengdu7th Middle School has carried out remarkable andconstructive attempts in this area. Its experiences and achievements on diathesiseducation reform on Chinese teaching through aesthetic education are researched andinvestigated. The author hopes to apply a useful example for present Chinese diathesiseducation reform. This paper includes four chapters: first, the diathesis educationalideas of Chengdu7thMiddle School on Chinese teaching founded on aestheticeducation theories are introduced and researched. From second to the last chapter, Ireflect on Chengdu7th Middle School’s texts system reform, class teaching modesreform and its expanding teaching of Chinese. In the end, its achievements and defectsare summarized with an expectation to help all people interest on its practices.
