Moral education is the basis of the whole quality-oriented education. If we want to improve the quality-oriented education, we must first of all enchance moral education. At present, in the area of moral education which is a particular terrain, little has been achieved although great efforts have been made. As the chief channel of moral education, politics education is also faced with great problems. It is reported that students are not really dislike the subject, they are getting tired of having political class. Most students are bored with this subject, which results from the present teaching effects of politics. So it is necessary to strengthen the present teaching effects so as to attract the students' attention thus making the class interesting and lively again. This is why I write this essay. In this article, I write the theory with practice. After emphasizing the importance and function of moral education, namely politics in the Middle School, I put forward my questions and fully analyze the present teaching situation from macroscopic and microscopic fields: aims → teaching materials(contents) →teachers→ comments. Finally I come up with my opinions on how to improve teaching methods: lowering aims; teaching contents connected with reality of life; bringing both the teachers' guiding function and the students' initiative into full play; setting up a scientific comment system, namely, developing comments.
