During the course of implementing quality education, what teachers complain and are puzzled most is the reforms of evaluation. Obviously the present system for evaluation has become the bottleneck in carrying forward quality education. Therefore, since the reforms for new curriculum of basic education were started in 2001, reforms of education evaluation have become the commonly concerned important study tasks for those education theorists and practical workers.This article is based on modern study theories. Applying methods of theory study, action study and experiment study, it tries to build from theories and practices a developmental evaluation platform of multi-methods of evaluation in order to make students get an all-round development and geography course further advanced. It consists of five sections. The background of this study task is raised in Section One, and illustrating the range, contents and study methods of this study task.. In Section Two, it begins with the theories of humanism, multi-intelligence and construction and expounds the theoretical base of modern education evaluation views. Section Three, I put forward the basic for drawing up evaluation aims of senior high school geography and discuss the three-dimensional aims system of senior high school geography curriculum. In Section Four, I expound the principles for evaluation and measurement, some common steps and the usual measuring methods used in high school, explain the three-dimensional aims assessment in the lights of some cases, and then applying new evaluation concepts, I form the evaluation programs for the aims of new curriculum of geography in senior high school. In Section Five, I make a practical research on the developmental evaluation methods for students. It has been proved that carrying out the developmental evaluation for geography teaching in senior high school is not only a respect of the new curriculum reform, at the same time it is also an effective way to push forward the geography new curriculum reform and advance students' all-round development. The developmental evaluation reform is feasible and effective.
