Honest and credit morals category is the important content in the traditional culture . The society requests us to initiate one kind of honest social convention, "good faith" then be the basic starting point. The Chinese Communist Party Central Committee promulgates "Citizen Morals Implementation Summary" , and proposed "good faith" is the citizen's basic morals standard. However with the development of market economy, the credit crisis appeared. University student's good faith character attracts our attention. University student's good faith is relates to not only the construction of the good socialist morality system, but also the stable and harmonious society. Therefore, the university must realize the necessity and importance of student's good faith education, enlarges to the good faith propaganda, and to consider the good faith education as being the important content of moral education, besides, university should establish perfect restraint and the penalty mechanism, mold the university student good faith quality. This article will analyze the development of good faith and the request to student from five aspects, finally, it educe that constructs strategy of the university student good faith morals system.Firstly, good faith traditional significance. It is to introduce the formation and development of good faith at the beginning of the social development.Secondly, function of good faith to social development . It is to introduce the function and status of good faith to social development, and then points out the importance and necessity of good faith .Thirdly, university student's good faith status quo. It is to introduce the good faith development situation from two aspects which including positive and negative in the university campus.Fourthly, the reason for lack of good faith. It is mainly introduce the subjective and impersonal reasons, these reasons relate to the society, the family and school oneself.Fifthly, the counter measure of good faith education. It achieved the good faith recognition, and to perfect the good faith content, the method, channel, and etc.
