On The University Student's Good Faith Education

In Chinese traditional culture,good faith has generally been defined as a behavior doctrine for people's association in the traditional society where people are familiar with each other,and a basic morality of Chinese nation. Meanwhile, good faith is one of the basic values in western society,and is the origin and core of the contract idea. This thesis is aimed to deduce the basic principles, content, ideas and practical plans for the good faith education of university students on the theoretical ground and practical basis of good faith.In the first section of this thesis, the content mainly includes the research ground, meaning and summary of university students'good faith education. Besides, the basic line of thought, research methods and the innovation of this thesis are listed in the section. It is held that the previous study of university students'good faith education has been limited within the internal environment of university. Therefore, this kind of research should be studied in a broader environment which includes the factors of society, family, university, individual and so on.In the second section, some relevant definitions are explained, which include good faith of Chinese tradition, western society and present time of china, education mechanism, university students'good faith education and the mechanism of university students'good faith education. Besides that, it is pointed out that good faith education is a requirement for the cultivation of talents for socialist harmonious society, a basis for the construction of harmonious university and the main solution to the problem of lack of good faith for university students. It is suggested that we should give play to the four factors such as society, university, family and individual so as to form a sound effect of university students'good faith education.In the third section, the main part is used to analyze the present situation and problems of university students'good faith. Through a series of typical data, some current ideas about the unhealthy tendency of university students morality and failure of good faith education for university students are proved not tenable. On the contrary, the point of this thesis is to not only face up to some disadvantages but also affirm the achievements of good faith education for university students. The main phenomena of university students'lack of good faith consist of cheating in examination, failure to pay grant-aided loans and tuition fee, violation of good faith principle in internet and so on. Meanwhile, some reasons for university students'lack of good faith are expounded which are the weakening of values'regulating effects, the lack of relevant institution, the deviation and error of university students'individual value orientation, disobeying some standards of family education, the defects of university's educational mechanism and so on.In the fourth section, it is suggested that university students'good faith education should be established from the following four aspects: social credit environment, university's internal good faith education, the mechanism of family's good faith education and university students'self-discipline system. In the respect of social credit system,it is suggested that we should speed up credit legislation, establish credit database and open the data information to the public,promote the establishment and regulation of credit intermediate agencies. Besides , the government should administer and supervise those credit trades. In the respect of university's internal good faith education, the main points that need to be reformed include the recreation of the idea of good faith education, the construction of university's good faith culture, university students'good faith education and teachers'academic and other morality. In the respect of the mechanism of family's good faith education, the important parts refers to the demonstration mechanism of family's good faith education, promotion of the communication between parents and children, reinforcement of the contact between university and parents and so on. In the respect of university students'self-discipline system, the measures mainly include cultivating self-examination and self-warning consciousness and giving play to the self-discipline of university students'organization.Finally, some difficult points that need further study about this thesis are listed, which aimed to enlighten the following study about university students'good faith education.
