The Factors Influencing The Socialization Of Pre-School Children And The Countermeasures

Socialization is the common problem concerned by subjects such as pedagogy,sociology, psychology and anthropology. The national all-round development hasincluded morality, intelligence, physique, art education and labor education, but wecan still find dissatisfaction in the education of China. As the foundation of basiceducation, the cultivation of the socialization of pre-school children hasn't been givenexpected attention. Though some children are good at study, they lack cooperation.Their ability to live doesn't fit in with their age and the society. If not given timelyeducation, they will meet more difficulties in future life. At present, there are fewsystematic theories on the socialization of pre-school children, and they just appear innewspapers and magazines if published. Therefore, on the basis of investigation andresearch and from pedagogy, sociology and psychology, this article gives a systematicanalysis of the socialization of pre-school children, trying to find out the problems andweak points, and suggesting the ways to deal with them by contrasting the pre-schoolchildren education in western countries.The four main factors influencing the socialization of pre-school children are:family, kindergarten, companion and mass media. Democratic and equal familyeducation and environment are most beneficial to the socialization of pre-schoolchildren;The teachers set good examples to children through their words andbehaviour in kindergarten;Good companionship can help the children adapt to thesociety quickly;Mass media influences the socialization of children though TV andreading materials.On the basis of the analysis of the pre-school education in developed countries,this article finds out and proposes the ways to deal with the weak points in thesocialization of pre-school children in our country: persisting in scientific earlyrudimentary education on the basis of respecting the individuality, and spreading thescientific early pre-school education methods, this trying to create a healthy,harmonious environment for children through the joint efforts of family, kindergartenand the society, promoting the socialization of pre-school children and training morecapable people for our country.
