At present, research on the actual effectiveness of university ideological and political education has very important theoretical and practical meanings. Now we are at an important opportunity period to build up a harmonious society. University students are the future of our nation and the hope of our country. They should and could play important roles in the process of building up a harmonious society. Building up socialist harmonious society requires those people who should have good morality, higher intelligence, good constitution and higher aesthetic feeling. But at present and to some extent, some students' ideological and political qualities are not very high and the actual effectiveness of ideological and political education is not very powerful in some universities.
