Study On Graduates' Job-selecting Anxiety

As a mood , anxiety is a kind of mood condition that individual experiences frequently . It's also a kind of psychological and behavior problem with high incidence ,and it has latent and long term influence on the individual body and mind development. If the individual has been in the high anxious condition for a long time, his normal life, study, physical and psychological health would be affected seriously. If the majority member in a society or in a group is frequently in the anxious mood, then will be able to affect inevitably the society's virtuous functioning and the achievement of harmonious society .In recent years, along with social reforming and the expansion of student enrollment, graduates' employment situation was more and more stern, and therefore drew out many psychological question.The main goal of the research is to understand the anxious condition of graduate who faced with the profession choosing, and to discuss the social, school, individual causes that lead to graduates' job-selecting anxiety in this foundation.The main findings are: the overall picking out rate is 19.1%, the overall average of value standard minute is 42.61±8.516;but there is no remarkable difference between male graduates and female graduates, between the town graduate and the country graduate, in the different major graduates, between graduates from colleges and graduates from universities in the average value job-selecting standard minute, but male graduates' anxiety degree is slightly higher than female graduates', the college graduates' anxiety degree is slightly higher than university graduates', the countryside graduates' anxiety degree is slightly higher than the town graduates'. The correlation analysis indicate that there is remarkable inverse correlation between the individual rational cognition level of university graduate and job-selecting anxiety degree;there isremarkable inverse correlation between individual coping style of university graduate in seeking the social support and job-selecting anxiety degree.There are three main causes that lead to the job-selecting anxiety of the graduates: including society's reforming and transition;the students' socialization has some flaw ,so the socialization degree is somewhat low;the individual rational cognition is insufficient when faces the difficult position of choosing profession;and lacks the effective individual coping policy , in particular is not good at positively seeking the social support.The society, the school, the individual all should adopt the corresponding measurements to intervene graduates' job-selecting anxiety. The society must vigorously develop the economy, perfect related systems;The school should further raise the students' socialization level;The individual should learn the rational cognition and learn to adopt effective coping style.
