With the development of higher education in China’s colleges,the students are increasing,the number of college graduates rise from6.6million to6.8million just one year. Under the domestic and foreign environment complex and grim, China’s total employment pressure and structural contradictions are still prominent. Accompanied by this situation not only from the increase in graduate employment pressure, but also anxiety,ofen accompanied by symptoms of stress, loss, anxiety, palpitation. So it is necessary to concerned about the anxiety of graduate employment. Graduate students as a high-level personnel in our community, the employment anxiety not only affect their own mental health, but also affect the healthy development of the school, the sustained development and stability of the community.Dr. Seligman has put forword Positive Psychology in1998, and it has taken over ten years, but its spread and development in China is less than ten years. Positive Psychology started late, but it broke the study boundaries of traditional psychology. It research on the positive side of a person. Put a deep research on positive emotions, positive personality, and actively organize. Therefor,it has been recognized by the community, aroused the interest of different walks of life and joined the research team.This article is on the basis of the positive psychology, the use of Zung’s self rating anxiety scale Guangxi University graduate research, and draw some conclusions:(1) Guangxi University graduates has job anxiety, and in the level of severe anxiety.(2) Guangxi University graduates has some subtle difference in each sub-level, but basically they all at the same level of anxiety.(3)From Positive psychology perspective, Guangxi University graduate students tend to cause attributede to external causes.(4)Guangxi University graduate students choice with a positive, optimistic attitude to treat when they face to job anxiety, and most of them will take an active coping style.(5)Positive Psychology can relieve graduates’anxiety in a certain extent. Howere, the graduate students for the awareness of positive psychology and its effect is relatively low now.For the anxiety and the reasons for its existence, starting from positive psychology, proposed to enhance positive emotional experiences through courses, creating a website; teacher guide the class, school give employment counseling to enhance the optimistic quality; school job fairs and other channets to display their nationalimplementation of complementary policies to enhance positive social atmosphere of the organization and other suggestions to reduce the anxiety of graduates employment.This paper analysis the employment anxiety of Guangxi University graduates, and the use of positive psychology theory to describe the anxiety of graduate employment, explain the importance of positive psychology in the elimination of job anxiety. According to the positive psychology research, give some suggestions from positive emotional experiences, positive personality traits, positive social organizations with some innovative.
