The Influence Of Network Upon Teenagers And The Countermeasures

Recently with the fast development of network, the teenagers have more probabilities to surf on the internet. The teenager period is the stage onto adulthood with their views of life and values taking shape. In this period, network brings in much convenience in their life and study, and also exerts much influence upon their developing views of morality, values and thinking way. The advantages and disadvantages about teenagers' surfing the internet becomes the focus of the current education and society. This paper, based on the summary and careful analysis of the features of network and various reasons for the network's influence upon the teenagers, presents the strategy of solving the problem.The whole paper involves three parts:Part one is mainly devoted to the summary of the particular characteristics of network. The main features are the following: virtuality and cripticality, openness and internationality, liberalness and democraticness, high efficiency, visuality, interactionality, alienation.Part two is the analysis of the reasons for the network's influence on the teenagers. The reasons are generally presented for both the positive influence and negative influence. The positive influence on teenagers is: good for the formation of teenagers' modern ideas, good for the alteration of teenagers' thinking way, developing teenagers' independent consciousness, helping build up teenagers' open and innovative spirit.Asfor the negative influence on morality, the paper presents the following: the internationality and openness of network impact teenagers' views of life and values, the virtuality of network results in the teenagers' weak moral emotion and alienation of living way, the cripticality of network brings about the increase of teenagers' crime.The negative influence on education is: teenagers' dependency on network deprives them of some viabilities, the liberalness of network effects teenagers' linguistic expressing way, the snack model of network reduces teenagers' knowledge and information jam, visuality of network shortens teenagers' logic thinking. The negative nfluence on psychology is: the virtuality of network distorts teenagers' personality, long time indulging in network causes teenagers' network mental disorder. The harm to health is microwave damage, eyesight hurt, organic injury, respiratory system destroy and psychological diseases.Part three, based on the above analysis, puts forwards the strategies of solving the problems from the perspectives of nation, society, school and family.
