With the publication of "Management Regulation for the Kindergarten", "Work Process for the Kindergarten" and "Education Guidance Program for the Kindergarten (Pilot Edition)" in China, people have recognized the importance of childhood education in the children's development day by day. With the strong support of the government and society in China, the childhood education industry has been developed rapidly in recent 20 years. Currently, the interior and exterior environment for the childhood education have been updated continuously, in order to play the foundation effect of the childhood education during the children's development availably, it is necessary to have a good cognition about the current condition and problem of the childhood education., so that each kindergarten could make adjustment according to the condition and problem of childhood education and development, thus the childhood education could really be a good foundation education for the lifelong development of children, meanwhile meeting the times spirit. This study is based on above cognitions.There are four parts in this study. The first part has introduced the current condition of childhood education development in China, which including: the pattern of backbone kindergartens built by the education department and principal kindergartens built by the society organization has been formed;the "Internationalization" tendency has appeared in the cooperation and communication for the childhood education;the cultivation of "All-around Development Children" will be the primarily value direction during the course of childhood education, abundant and characteristic multi-courses will be provided. The second part has pointed the common problems existed in current childhood education, especially about the "Character" education problem, laggard kindergarten management view, overmuch courses, poor scientific research ability of the teachers and the actual effect between the kindergarten and family etc. The third part has made an extension analysis about the reasons of above problems. The fourth part has revealed several countermeasures for the development of childhood education. It is suggested that relevant countermeasures should be adopted according to the actual condition of each kindergarten during the development of each kindergarten, such as: promote the harmonious development of body and spirit about the children byunderstanding the substance of "Character";Update idea and perfect management, construct an organization ambience with confidence, multi action and cooperation;build correct course value view and research appropriate education course meeting with the childhood development demands;program the education and training plan of multi-level, multi-type and multi-development, improve the whole quality of the teacher comprehensively;integrate the education resources, improve the childhood education by multi-channel and multi-way kindergarten -family activities, build the brand and provide excellent childhood education.
