For the sake of promoting the reformation and the development of gym education and art education, in 2004 the Ministry of Education decided to carry out 'gym and art 2+1 item 'completely in the countrywide primary and junior high schools from the September of that year, on the base of experiment in the extracurricular literature and gym activity demonstration area in the countrywide primary and junior high school and obtaining the experience. Viz. through school organizing physical education and art education in and out of the classroom, to make each student master two athletics sport technical ability and an art special features in the nine years compulsory education stage, thereby establishing well skill foundation for all-around development of students.Volleyball as one of gymnastic item in '2+1 item': How about its effectiveness in demonstration area? How many students choose volleyball? How about its life-force and social benefit? Confronting these questions, the domestic scholar understands very little, it is not very systematic either to study, there are very fewer theses.This article provides an overview of major law adopted literature, survey law, interviews law, logic analysis and several scientific methods for statistical law, to Henan Province Zhengzhou city, Shandong Province Qingdao city, Hubei Province Xiangfan city, Tianjin west river area and Jiangxi Province Yichun city YuanZhou area the altogether 5 primary and junior high school's literature and gym activity demonstration area "2 + 1 item" it has conducted the comprehensive investigation and study on the volleyball project development present situation. The findings indicated that, in various demonstration area of primary and junior high school who choose to develop volleyball project is very few, only 33.7% accounts for the school that is investigated, explained the volleyball project in develops "2 + 1 item" in the experimental work is certainly not to obtain the qualitative change;using the questionnaire survey influence factor result to Carries on the principal components analysis and the factor analysis, has obtained 5 principal components factors which influence the development of volleyball project in the "2+1 item". Social environment factor is biggest, the condition factor rows second, next is cognition factor, the individual factor and the project characteristic factor;it is very inconsistent in various demonstration area of primary and junior high school. Inaspects of location equipment, teaching, extracurricular training and competition, big city better than other cities, the hard volleyball tradition area is better than other areas;Many primary and junior high school's gym instructor own row of skill in ball games tactical levels are not high, does not have the ability to organize volleyball teaching, training and the competing, causes part of schools in developing "2 + 1 item" of the volleyball movement, because of lacks the essential teachers strength level, which affects the primary and junior high school's volleyball sports development. In view of the above present situation and the influence factor, the author separately proposed certain countermeasures.
