In the April of 2004, as part of the reform of basic education of the Ministry of Education, Course standard of Chinese for general senior high school came out along with praises and trouble. In this thesis, the new course standard was thought to be positive, the changes of the course standard of Chinese or outline were reviewed, relative theories brought forth by some specialists and scholars were explained and the education ideas and contents of the new course standard were analyzed imperturbably and objectively in order to make the new course standard more scientific and more practical in reality.The thesis contains three parts: The first part listed the arguments about the Chinese course properties and explained the author's points of view with regard to the Chinese course properties using the identification of the properties of native languages in other countries: The unity of tool and humanity, humanity is based on tool and its humanity is embodied with the process of realization of being a tool.The second part: Introduced the status quo of Chinese teaching at home, listed the expressions of the roles of teachers and the main body of teaching and analyzed their inadequacy, made clear the author's understanding of the properties of main body aiming at the arguments about the main body of teachers and that of the students.The third part: Referring to foreign teaching theories and analyzing the two ways, new and old, of learning and evaluation system, it was concluded that traditions could not be neglected, investigative studying and new evaluation styles should not be exaggerated;Practical and effective ways of learning and evaluation methods should be carried out according to the teaching practice.
