Research On Community Vulnerability Assessment Based On Projection Pursuit Model

With the acceleration of urbanization,different regions of the city also present different characteristics of vulnerability.As the basic unit of urban operation,community has become the front position to dispose various accident injuries.Community vulnerability is defined as the vulnerability and damage characteristic of people and things in the community to the risk disturbance.Through the community vulnerability assessment,the identification of the vulnerable people and things in the community becomes the key to solve the community vulnerability.Therefore,this paper proposes a community vulnerability assessment method based on projection pursuit model.A community vulnerability index system was constructed based on the components of vulnerability--exposure,sensitivity and adaptability,and 7representative communities were selected for empirical analysis,the conclusions are obtained:(1)The evaluation index system constructed from the perspective of vulnerability better reflects the community security situation.This paper first uses the community diagnosis method to find out the main types of injuries existing in the community,then uses the accident cause chain theory to explore the causes of accidents and injuries,and finally selects the community vulnerability index to reflect the vulnerability of the community,and constructs the community vulnerability evaluation index system.The evaluation index system constructed by this method has strong guidance for accident and injury prevention.(2)The projection pursuit model shows good adaptability and operability in the process of community vulnerability evaluation.The evaluation model is used to avoid the situation of subjective assignment,which reflects the safety level of the sample community and the influence of each index layer on the target layer.The results of assessment the vulnerability of sample 2 is the highest and sample 1 is the lowest.In the evaluation index,the annual inspection and maintenance rate of liquefied gas bottle,residents overall safety awareness level,the elderly over 65 years old,children under 14 years old,the potential number of falling and falling injuries,and the potential number of fire and explosion injuries have a greater impact on the degree of community vulnerability.The evaluation results provide a basis for reducing the vulnerability of communities.(3)According to the evaluation results,the promotion project is more scientific and systematic.From the three aspects of the sensitivity and adaptability of the community vulnerability,the measures to reduce the community exposure and sensitivity and improve the community adaptability are designed.In order to reduce the vulnerability level of the community comprehensively,it provides reliable basic support for residents to create a safe community environment.
