In "Chinese Course Criterion", it is clearly indicated that "Greatefforts should be made to develop opening and vigorous Chinese course"and "Chinese teachers should pay much attention to the development andutilization of the course resources." However, Chinese recessive course,as one part of the course resources hasn't yet get as much attention anddevelopment as the dominant course. This thesis tries to do some researchon the Chinese recessive course through the macro-theory of Chineserecessive course.Comparing with the traditional Chinese courses stipulated by theschool, Chinese recessive course refers to the educational environmentand teaching process that exert a subtle influence on the psychology ofthe students with the educationists' planed and aimed teaching design andwhich involve all the learning circumstances and organization forms thatare able to transmit the knowledge of the Chinese and capability tostudents. Chinese recessive course is mainly characterized by fivequalities of potential, opening, human culture, aestheticism andpracticality. As to its content, three aspects are included, namely, the formof the material culture, the form of the spiritual culture and the form ofthe behavior culture. Besides, Chinese recessive course is helpful foraccelerating the development of human personality, motivating thelearning potential of the students and imparting Chinese knowledge etc.Therefore, it is quite critical to develop actively Chinese recessive courseso as to improve the educational quality of Chinese.According to the principle of optimum seeking, applicability,systemcaticness and serialization, three are three ways of developing andutilizing Chinese recessive course. They are specifically consisted ofcreating natural and humanistic material environment for Chineselearning, constructing healthy and upward spiritual environment andbuilding the environment of health and harmonies. Though these threeways are only several sides of developing and utilizing Chinese recessivecourse, they give the meaningful enlightenment to the present researchsituation of developing and utilizing Chinese recessive course that hasfew achievements practically.According to the author, Chinese recessive course can make up forthe insufficiency of Chinese dominant course. Full development andutilization of Chinese recessive course can help better implement therequirements stipulated in the "Chinese Course Criterion" and solve someproblems prevailing in the fundamental education at present.All in all, forthe present teaching of the Chinese, we must give special attention to thedevelopment and utilization of the Chinese recessive course that is alsothe common task the educationists must be confronted with.
