With the in-depth reform of geography curriculum,it has been increasingly emphasized in high school geography teaching to comprehensively promote quality-oriented education and establish the concept of lifelong learning.At the present stage,the educational concept is gradually changing from knowledge-based to ability-based.The core accomplishment of geography requires the cultivation of students' geographical thinking ability,the enhancement of students' geographical innovation and practical ability,the emphasis on emotional education for students,and the stimulation of students' interest in learning geography.Implicit curriculum has potential moral value,which is mainly manifested in four aspects of cognitive orientation,emotional edification,will tempering and behavior norms for students,which coincides with the concept of geography core accomplishment and quality education.As a form of curriculum expression,hidden curriculum has been studied by many scholars since 1960s,and has become one of the hot topics of educators' research.Explicit courses mainly focus on students' knowledge and ignore their spiritual world,while implicit courses with concealment and flexibility can influence students imperceptibly by using the environment,affecting students' values and emotional attitudes,and changing students' behavior habits,and the influence is lasting.Based on the requirements of the core literacy of geography and the unique educational function of the hidden curriculum,this study develops and utilizes the hidden curriculum in high school geography teaching.Starting from three aspects of students,teachers and teaching methods,this paper aims to optimize geography class by using hidden curriculum and create a relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere.It not only pays attention to the cultivation of students' knowledge and skills,but also pays attention to the improvement of students' non-cognitive ability.This paper mainly includes five parts: introduction,research overview,current situation analysis,specific cases and conclusions.Firstly,based on the background and significance of the hidden curriculum,this paper analyzes the necessity of the development of geography hidden curriculum;Secondly,on the basis of clarifying the concept and theory of hidden curriculum,the hidden curriculum in senior high school geography teaching is divided into four categories:Hidden lessons in and out of the classroom,material hidden curriculum,institutional hidden curriculum,spiritual hidden curriculum;By means of questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the current situation of the second middle school in Funan County,and analyzes the problems and influencing factors in the development and utilization of the four types of hidden curriculum;On this basis,this paper puts forward the specific contents and methods of the development and utilization of these four types of hidden curriculum,and shows specific cases of high school geography hidden curriculum development.
