The Establishment Of Initial Teacher Education Curriculum Based On Teacher Professional Development

Nowadays, teacher professional development has become a trend of the international teacher education, and it's our country's issue of teacher education. The reform of basic educational curriculum in China made an urgent requirement to teacher professional development, so the teacher's education in job was pay more attention. Meanwhile, the initial teacher education did not have more attention. As the basis of teacher education, the initial teacher education influences the speed and quality of teacher professional development.Curriculum shows the ideas of education, and it's the prerequisite of the teaching activity. Curriculum is also the basic elements of the initial teacher education. But there are still many problems in the curriculum for initial teacher education in our country. These problems prevent the professional development of the students in teacher's college. So it is essential to study the initial teacher education under the background of teacher professional development, and it has an important meaning to perfect teacher professional development and the teacher education.Interview, cultural heritage and comparative are used in this paper to investigate the current situation of the establishment of initial teacher education curriculum, and the shortage in it is discussed and analyzed. The strategy to the current situation is put forward so as to be consulted. This paper contains four parts,the main contents of each part is as follows:Part 1: Firstly, this part definite the establishment of initial teacher education curriculum and teacher professional development, then present the current study on teacher professional development and the establishment of initial teacher education curriculum in Domestic and international, and make a view in different angle of the establishment of initial teacher education curriculum, such as philosophy, psychology and pedagogy.Part 2: This part elaborates the characteristics of the professional teacher, and the requirement that the teacher professional development put forward to the establishment of initial teacher education curriculum.
