"Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reforms (try out)" proposes we must "developvarious kinds of curriculum resources inside and outside school reasonably and utilize themactively." Under this background, to develop and utilize Chinese curriculum resourcesbecomes a task that all Chinese educators, especially the teachers of Chinese who work inmiddle schools must further investigate.Chinese curriculum resource is the generic term of different factors and conditions thatcan turn into Chinese curriculum and serve it, which has multi-dimension nature,interdisciplinary, subjectivity and objectivity, directness and indirect characteristic. Accordingto the source, Chinese curriculum resources can be divided into resources inside school andoutside school. And it can be divided into material resources and conditional resourcesaccording to the function. Developing and utilizing the resources for Chinese curriculum canbring about an advance in students, improve and perfect Chinese curriculum, qualify teachers.Chinese teachers play a leading and decisive role in the development and utilization of thewhole Chinese curriculum resources. The teachers of Chinese are also important curriculumresources, and they are the principal part to develop and utilize curriculum resources, and thekey factors in functioning other curriculum resources.As material curriculum resources, a teacher of Chinese is a target that students shouldstudy. Teacher's own knowledge, including Chinese knowledge, relevant subject and culturalknowledge;Teachers' affection includes the emotion and individual character, etc. and itstechnical ability includes the ability of expressing, writing on the blackboard and writingability and so on, which are all Chinese curriculum resources. Chinese teacher should developand combine the above reasonably and scientifically in the classroom.The teacher of Chinese, as condition curriculum resources, is the main promotion factorfor students' Chinese study. In the course teaching, Chinese teacher needs to develop andutilize the resources of Chinese curriculum, students, and environment, including humanresource, knowledge resource in the teaching material of Chinese, students' resource ofattitude towards study, experience resources, knowledge resource, natural environmentalresources, social environmental resources and environmental resources in the school in theenvironment, etc. Meanwhile, Chinese teacher is the essential condition of student's study toowhile developing one's own resources.Chinese teacher should first establish clear curriculum resource consciousness to developcurriculum resources. This is a need which changes Chinese education current situation, of itsown development of Chinese subject, of improving the efficiency of utilization of resourcesof Chinese course, and of Chinese teacher's specialized development. Chinese teacher shouldform the correct course resource view, understand the level of curriculum resources, andavoid the suffusing with course resource gathering. On this basis, Chinese teacher mustimprove the ability of developing curriculum resources, including widening the curriculumresources in preparing lectures, focusing on the creation of curriculum resources, andaccumulating the after-class curriculum resources concerning thoughts on the lectures.
