Now the new curriculum reform of the elementary education in our country is carriedon deeply. The textbook, as the most important carriers of course, its applicability isinfluencing the implementation and popularization of the new curriculum reform to a greatextent. Regarded the Volume 7 of the Beijing Normal University version mathematicstextbook the as the case, this thesis have analyzed the textbook's structure, content and soon. Though the interviews with teacher and the classroom observations, this thesis alsoanalyzes the questions which appeared in the process of using the textbook.The thesis is mainly composed by four parts, the introduction, the elementary schoolmathematics teaching material as well as the characteristic, the study for the status of thetextbook using and the suggestion for the teaching material editor and the teachers. throughto contrast between the different teaching material and analysis the textbook itself, Theauthor discovered in this textbook, the content design adaptation, source material unique,the way for presents richly and colorful, but teaching capacity big, the exercise quantitysmall. The textbook takes the unit as the whole, the situation as the clue. The content of thetextbook is also elastic. Through the inspection of the present situation and the problemswhich appears in the use, we may see situation designed in the Beijing Normal Universityversion mathematics textbook conforms to student's life, the source material is rich in thecurrent relevance, but the content goal displays insufficiently, and there is no clearcorresponding class hour suggestion for every section. The difficulty of the exercise andthe source material is not stable enough, so the difficulty of the teaching materialdevelopments for the second time is slightly big. The senior teacher is easier than the newteacher to control the teaching material.The overall looked like that, the Beijing Normal University version mathematicstextbook has manifested the curriculum standard request, has the very good inspirationfunction to teacher's teaching designAbove this foundation, the thesis gives the suggestions from two aspects, to the editorof the textbook and to the teachers who are using the textbook. Including: Suggesting theteaching material editor clear about the teaching goal and the knowledge, produce eachsection the class hour suggestion, increase the exercise quantity as well as adjust itsdifficulty, and avoid the pure knowledge mistake. Suggest the teachers, who are using thistextbook, refer to the other visions textbooks, clear about the course content, adjust theexercise difficulty, seek more resources, fully use the outstanding source material, drawclose to the students' lives, dive the sub curriculum.
