Methods in this paper,through their own teaching practice,observation of class,questionnaire and interview were used.As the research platform,Srinagarindra The Princess Mother School Kamphaengphet.the paper will analyze the moderation and validity of the Happy Chinese(English version)which is used in the Chinese class.The author found that the contents of Happy Chinese(English version)is simple and lively during the investigation,which conforms to the Chinese junior middle school students.However,the textbook wrote mainly for the students who are the native English speakers,and the contents of the textbook don't relate closely to the Thai language,culture and their life.At the same time,the textbook don't relate well with the educational system of Thailand and the teaching of Chinese in school,these elements make Happy Chinese(English version)has weak applicability in Srinagarindra The Princess Mother School Kamphaengphet.This article is divided into five parts: the first part includes the reason,background,signification of the topic,literature review and research methods;The second part is the basic analysis of the contents about Happy Chinese(volume1)and the situation of Chinese teaching in Srinagarindra The Princess Mother School Kamphaengphet;The third part includes background of research,object and the design and implementation of questionnaire;The fourth part includes the analysis of applicability of Happy Chinese,which will research from the aspect of the textbook,student and teacher,and the author found the weak applicability the textbook which is used in Srinagarindra The Princess Mother School Kamphaengphet;The fifth part is the suggestions for choosing textbooks.According to the results of research,and other investigations about the situation of the usage of Chinese textbooks in other middle school,the author found that most of the schools have no Chinese textbooks or use the textbooks which is written from their own.The lack of the unified textbooks is easy to cause the questions such as the different Chinese level of students and the difficulties of improving their Chinese level.Therefore,the suggestions are put forward of choosing the Chinese textbooks for Thai high school.The sixth part includes the conclusionand the shortage of the research.According to the analysis of applicability of Happy Chinese in Srinagarindra The Princess Mother School Kamphaengphet,it is found that the lack of unity,continuity and scientific nature about the usage of textbooks of Chinese teaching in the middle school of Thailand.In order to confirm the opinion scientifically,the author investigated the Chinese teachers of other middle schools with the questionnaires,and found the lack of scientific nature of textbooks of Chinese teaching which is used in the middle school,then put foreword some practical advice about how to write the Chinese textbooks of middle school in Thailand so that some suggestions could be provided about the writing of localized textbooks of Thailand and the selection of Chinese textbooks.
