Self-regulated learning (SRL) is of great significance in the students' lifelong development. But as a matter of fact, most of our Chinese classroom teaching are still "transmission" teaching which emphasizes on teaching Chinese language points rather than developing the students' ability to learn. This traditional teaching model can no longer adapt to the development and requirement of quality education in new situations. As for the theoretical research of SRL, though it has a long history, great achievements have been made and it is employed in the domestic teaching practice, it is not widely carried out and it especially remains blank in the field of Chinese teaching practice. The present paper aims at applying the teaching pattern of SRL in the Chinese teaching practice, to heighten the students' Chinese level, improve their capability of SRL and make themselves new capable learners.Firstly, when we have studied the domestic and international independent theory, successful experience and SRL pattern, we know that SRL in the field of Chinese teaching practice is urgent and necessary. Secondly , when we have analyzed various kinds of factor influencing SRL, we summarize several teaching strategies on how to improve the students' capability of SRL. Namely: we should cultivate the students' motivation and build high-efficient teaching pattern. The experiment proves that learning motivation is the interior motive force of promoting the student's learning. In order to improve the students' capability of SRL in English, we should cultivate the students' motivation and interest, arouse the enthusiasm of the students' learning and build high-efficient teaching pattern which takes learning notes as carrier. It is our duty to foster the students' capability of SRL and lay a foundation in their lifelong development.Finally , whether SRL can be realized or not depends on the transition of the educational thought, the development of the education state and the learners' quality. In the 21st century, we are in the situation of the reform in education and our educational mechanism of the school will tend to reach perfection, so the necessity and feasibility of SRL will be greater. To educational practitioners, this is not only an opportunity but also a challenge .
