Social informationization and knowledge economy in the twenty-first century have made a requirement on an unprecedented change of education. The UNESCO points out in its research report"Education---Fortune stored in it"that education should get ready for every human being's lifelong happiness, and the four pillars of the education in the future are to make students learn认识, how to do things, how to live a life and how to survive. Lifelong education theory is not to ask education provides more knowledge for students, but let learners grasp more about ways and methods of learning, truly making them gradually get into the state of how to learn and know how to learn.For a long time, there exist in our education and teaching the lack of the students'spirit of bringing forth new ideas, and thus, problems with students'poor ability of practice, a unitary learning method and passivity and dispirit of feeling experience is becoming more and more disharmonious with the development of the modern society. How to improve the traditional teaching and how to better the quality of teaching, to make the students adapt to the demands of the economic society, is the most important point that each of basic teaching workers must face and study.Since 1980s,"solving-problems"teaching system has taken an important place, and its main purpose is to fully stimulate students'personality, instruct students to gain various ideas and methods of solving problems, cultivate their the ability of creativity, promote their improvement of knowledge and ability. With the instruction of it, we assimilate the teaching ideas of constructionism, (建构主义), use the methods of research learning(研究性学习), a new vigorous teaching style appears in the teaching reorganization of the class teaching, that is the"problems---exploration and study"teaching method. Using problems as a link, this method makes students learn through high-level thinking in the course of bringing up questions, analyzing problems and solving them, and construct knowledge, develop their intelligence and improve their ability based on the solution to the problem. The goal for the education reform that has been decided by the special demand for skilled personnel in our economic age is that we must fully cultivate human beings'subjective activity, lay stress on the educational process, cultivate creative ability, and through teaching to make students learn how to learn, how to think and how to create, so"problems---exploration and study"teaching method is necessary.At present, the situation of the research for the"problems---exploration and study"teaching method in China is that more theoretical research is being performed but less practice.
