The development of global knowledge economy and modern information technology set off a tide of educational innovation and learning revolution around the world.It promote a new round of basic educational courses and teaching revolution, which focus on fostering the students' consciousness of innovation and abilities and advocate the teaching mo del which is teacher-guided, student-centered and to teach is to learn. This is consistent with the characteristics of participatory teaching methods. Putting the participatory teaching methods into the practice of the revolution of high school ideological and political education is in accordance with new curriculum reform which comes back to life and the teaching philosophy which focus on the development of students.Futhermore, it is also the important requirements that carry out the quality-oriented education. In the background of new curriculum reform, the thesis systematically analyzes the connotation, significance the basic requirements of application about the participatory teaching methods in high school ideological and political education. At the same time, it analyzes the main problems and reasons in the process of application. The thesis also makes a meaningful exploitation on how to apply this teaching method.The passage will discuss this topic from three aspects.The first part:the connotation of the participatory teaching methods in high school ideological and political education and the basic requirements significance in the background of new curriculum reform.
