The Question Of Family-involvement In Our Country And Solution To It

There is a common belief that education for teenagers and children not only needs school but also society ,especially cooperation of family. First of all,school and parents are facing some new educational problems together. Secondly,traditional family-involvement has been challenged.Thirdly, school education is limited. It has slow reaction for social reform.Finally,family has many advantages in educating children . parents can know their children thoroughly and deeply and educate their children in accordance with these facts.Family-involvement has been a worldwide research task.In the United States,family-involvement has been the subject of educational research and school reform.In France,people believe that teachers,parents and school should pass information about themselves,which is the best way to realize the coordination beteen school education and family education.So in the second or third week of the beginning of each term,a meeting will be held incuding parents,teachers and students.Teachers will tell the parents and students about the teaching plan,the teaching method and time assignment and so on.There are still much work to be done about family-involvement in our coutry.First,there is a wrong and old idea .Most parents lack the consciousness of taking part in school education,while teachers think that parents don't understand educational law and they have no ability to take part in school education.Secondly, there is no whole plan ,no mutual activity,no coherence for family-involvement.In order to make family-involvement better,we should build atmosphere for it;build companion relationship beteen family and school;play the role of educational department on organization and coordination;improving educational level of parents.We should try make the relationship of school and family more understanding and harmonious.
