| Our government has always been attaching great importance to elite athlete's cultural educational work. The national reserve athletic talents'cultural educational work of high-level sports not only concerns the improvement of the athletic level, but also concerns the construction of the national high-level sports teams and the cultivation of socialism builder and successor too. So, the study on reserve athletic talents'cultural education of national high-level sports has very important theory meaning and realistic meaning.This research, by documentary method, interviewing, questionnaire survey, logic analytic approach, statistic method and systematic method, choose the cultural teachers and students form grade one to grade three of seven"2005- 2008"national high-level sports reserve talent training base (special secondary schools) in Henan Province as the research object. The dissertation mainly probes into some important factors that affect student's cultural study. The results shows: (1) Student's basic cultural education is not good, students'enthusiasm in cultural learning is not high, the authority of schools not pay enough attention to cultural teaching, the supporting money for cultural teaching falls short of the real need, the teaching equipment is outmoded, the cultural teachers'professional titles are relatively low, the lengths of teaching ages are relative short, teachers'working conditions are bad and teachers have little chance to attend in advanced studies etc. are main factors that affect the cultural education. (2) The attitudes of students in their studies need to be rectified. Though they think it is important to learn cultural lessons, but think the most important thing is the sport achievement. Students don't know how to use correct learning tactics and those lead to a negative air for cultural study. At the same time, most students hold that the cultural study is very difficult.
