| Love is an unique psychological phenomenon of human beings which is based on physiological development and respecting much profound social contents. It influences human's life and career very much. Based on an open-ended questionnaire, this study analyzed all sorts of factors considered by university students when they think about their love. And on overviews of former studies, a theoretical hypothesis was put forward. Thus the Youth's Love Values Questionnaire that is fit for the young people were designed and the reliability and validity were tested out. Then the status and characters of youth's love value, including 515 young people, were investigated through the formal questionnaire.The reliability and validity of the Youth's Love Value Questionnaire were comprehensively and further tested with path analysis. The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The self-made questionnaire had high reliability and fair validity. By means of the method of factor analysis, the research finds that the youth's love values are constructed by four dimensions: eroticism, utilitarian, romanticism, dedication . These are basically consistent with the theoretical hypothesis.(2) The literacy level effect was statistically significant in eroticism and utilitarian. The lower level of the youth the more they appreciate eroticism and utilitarian. |
